The Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association was established as a non-profit organization in 1962 and now has approximately 92 active members.
Regional Parks were established by local volunteers to provide communities and the general public with great recreational opportunities. To this day, they continue to be governed by volunteer boards which consist of appointees by local RMs, cities, towns, and villages throughout Saskatchewan. These volunteers work extremely hard to keep our system of parks alive and most importantly, ensure there will be a pleasant, enjoyable summer experience waiting for visitors each year!
